Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
BlueHous ("we", "us", "our") operates the BlueHous website and services, which connect prospective buyers with presale and new-build properties in Greece, real-estate developers, and related service providers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly:
- Contact and lead forms: name, email address, phone number, and any message or property preferences you submit when enquiring about a property, developer, or service provider.
- Account registration: name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account, along with your acceptance of our Terms and any newsletter opt-in.
- Chat conversations: messages you send to our AI assistant, including any contact details you choose to share in-chat.
- Scheduling: details you provide when booking a call or meeting through our scheduling integration.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and analytics data: pages viewed, searches performed, properties viewed, referring pages, approximate location (derived from IP), device and browser type. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- Session recording, only with a separate consent: if you agree to session recording in the cookie notice (a choice separate from measurement), we record some of your visits, and when a page error occurs, the moments before it: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the layout of the pages as you saw them. Everything you type is masked in your browser before it is sent, and email addresses and phone numbers shown on the page are masked too. If you send an enquiry, the recording is linked to it. Recordings are used only by our team to find and fix problems on the site. You can withdraw this consent at any time through the Cookie settings link.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies for essential site functions (authentication, language preference, accessibility preferences), and for keeping your chat session. Measurement cookies, including those set by Google and Meta (see below), are used only after you accept measurement in the cookie notice. A few of our own site cookies are set before that choice, for 90 days, so that an enquiry can be linked to where it came from: where you first arrived from (a campaign or a referring site) and, if you came from a click on a Google or Meta ad, the ad click identifier. This stays in our systems, and the Meta click identifier is passed to Meta only if you accept measurement. You can change that choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may limit site functionality.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and connect you with the relevant property developer or service provider.
- To provide, operate, and improve the website, search, and AI assistant.
- To manage your account and authenticate you.
- To send you updates or marketing communications only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting us.
- To analyze site usage, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:
- Property developers and service providers: when you submit a lead or enquiry about a specific property, project, or professional, we pass your contact details and message to the relevant party so they can respond to you.
- Service processors: trusted vendors that host and operate parts of our service on our behalf, such as cloud database and authentication hosting, email delivery, scheduling, and AI language-model providers that power our chat assistant. These vendors process data only on our instructions.
- Advertising and analytics platforms: if you accept measurement in the cookie notice, the site loads Google Analytics, Google Ads when we advertise on Google (both from Google), and the Meta pixel (from Meta, for Facebook and Instagram). They receive the pages you view, your browser and device details and IP address, and a notice when a form is sent. Google receives the form's name and, so it can measure our advertising, the email address and phone number typed into the form, encoded one way (hashed) in your browser before they are sent. When you reach our site from a Google ad, we keep the ad's click identifier with your enquiry, in our own systems only. Meta also receives the contact details typed into the form, such as your name, email address and phone number, in hashed (one-way encoded) form, so it can match the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account and measure our advertising. Meta may also read details from the page itself, such as titles and prices. For visitors who accepted measurement, our server also reports the enquiry, and later a booked meeting or a closed deal, to Meta directly. The report includes the email address and phone number entered in the form, an internal reference for the enquiry and your country, all encoded one way (hashed), as well as your IP address, browser type, the address of the page the enquiry was sent from, the identifier Meta's pixel stored in your browser, and the identifier of the Meta ad click that brought you to the site, if there was one. We keep that ad click identifier in our own site cookie from the moment you arrive from the ad, and send it only if you accept measurement. To report a later meeting or deal, we keep both Meta identifiers with the enquiry. This lets Meta count an enquiry its browser tag missed, and count it once. Nothing is reported for visitors who did not accept measurement. We use this to measure how visitors find us and how our advertising performs. Google and Meta also process this data under their own terms and privacy policies (Google, Meta). Without your consent none of these tags load.
- Legal requirements: where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Some of these vendors may process data outside your country, including in the EU, US, or Israel. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
AI assistant
Our chat assistant is powered by a third-party AI language model. Conversations are logged, including which site content was used to generate each answer, for quality, safety, and abuse-prevention purposes. Please do not share sensitive personal information in chat beyond what is needed for your enquiry.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: lead and enquiry data for as long as the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping; account data for as long as your account exists; analytics data in aggregated or pseudonymized form. Session recordings are deleted automatically after 14 days. Google Analytics keeps the measurement data it receives for up to 14 months, and Meta keeps the data it receives, from the pixel and from our server, according to its own policy. You may request deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR and Israel's Protection of Privacy Law), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@bluehous.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and hosting with reputable cloud providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
